The Environmental Services segment engages in the drinking water supply, wastewater disposal, and thermal waste incineration businesses, as well as in international project business.

It plans, builds, finances, and operates municipal and industrial water and wastewater installations, and a waste incineration installation.

This segment serves 493,000 drinking water customers.

The Strategic Investments and Other Business segment involves in the oil and gas production; and storage of natural gas.

The company was founded in 1922 and is headquartered in Maria Enzersdorf, Austria.
